1. What if the Awnings is wet?
The Retractable Awning can only be retracted after it is clean and dried. When the awning is wet and has to be retracted, experts suggest that it should be fully unfolded and dried whenever possible. If wetted by rain, the awning should be opened after sunshine, so that the Outdoor Manual Retractable Awning cloth can be dried naturally before closing the mechanism.
2. When should the awning be cleaned?
Whether the awning needs to be cleaned or not depends largely on the environment (traffic density, air pollution, industrial pollution, etc.). The requirements for cleaning are as follows:
(1) Clean the dust regularly with a soft brush when the awning is dry.
(2) Branches, leaves and other similar objects should be cleaned up in time.
(3) If there is a small piece of dirt on the cloth, gently brush it with a soft brush dipped with ordinary detergent, then rinse it several times with clean water until there is no residual detergent on the fabric and open it for drying.
3. How to clean other parts?
For the parts of the awning made of high-grade aluminium alloy, acid or abrasive materials (such as abrasive pads, diamond sandpaper, sandpaper, pumice, etc.) can not be used. They can damage the surface. Aluminum alloy frame cleaning should be treated with extra care, usually with soft cloth, detergent. Also note that the detergent used on high-grade aluminium alloy should not touch the cloth of the awning.
